The Nortel IP Phone 2001 (i2001 Internet Phone) is the entry level, single-line IP telephone from Nortel Networks. With basic call handling features the IP Phone 2001 is especially suited for public areas such as customer service areas, storage rooms, hallways, and break rooms. It is also ideal for low call traffic locations such as school classrooms, warehouses, and hotel rooms.

The Nortel IP Phone 2001 (i2001) offers all of the same efficiency enhancing advantages to maintenance practices and management as the larger Nortel IP phones at a lower cost. Direct connection allows for simplified moves, adds and changes (MAC) so you spend less time and money managing your network. Direct connection to LAN also allows network designers to simplify their wiring system for easier access and efficient management.
