The SoundStation2 (expandable) is Polycom's next generation conference phone. With the addition of two microphones it becomes one of the most powerful conference phones available. With industry-leading full duplex talk capabilities for natural, simultaneous two-way conversation, and two extra microphones the Polycom SoundStation2 Expandable Conference Phone is perfect for medium to large sized conference rooms. The new model with microphones provides voice quality equal to the SoundStation Premier and increases microphone sensitivity by 50% over the original award-winning SoundStation for the largest of conference rooms. Users can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly up to ten feet away from any microphone.

New features are also available, including a large backlit display that offers easily visible call information and telephone functions. Smart technology, such as Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR), hones microphone sensitivity by reducing room and background noise. The Polycom SoundStation2 offers 360-degree coverage with automatic microphone switchng to make the microphone nearest a given speaker the active one. Plus, the Polycom SoundStation2 Expandable Conference w/ 2 extended mirophones offers telephone features like redial, mute, hold, and transfer.
